when peopel ask about Monroe eats I always suggest Mohawk Tavern. Also The Pickle Barrel, but they are mostly sandwiches.

what is HHC? I like moonshine with the cinnamon stick in it. Probably not a good idea to get wasted at lunch since I have to drive back to Jackson.

hhc, saltines, and apple pie shine, will start your evening off in a wonderful, seemingly natural way..

Let me know if you'd like to peruse the list of Rayville dining establishments.

Actually there is a lunch joint called Cast Iron that will rival anything in New York, Monroe, or Paris. That's where I'm V-daying it tonight. Not to take anything away from the Sonic of course..

Sure. I've eaten lunch there a bunch and have had her catering and whatnot several times. It's the real deal. Never been to one of her fancy suppers though..

Yea, but not there. She's a fry chef at the Sonic.

Is this the only time they open at night or are there other times? It's hard for me to get by there during the week for lunch unless I am off work and there in town. I've only eaten there once, but it was real good. My twin eats there a lot and says he hasn't ever had a bad meal.

They're only open for lunch. They will have a few random nights throughout the year when they throw a spread on and contact people via email. And they'll do special occastions like tonight. It really is some of the best food around.
