If you're gonna shoot someone, by far the best place to shoot is in your own home, that way you have a chance to claim self-defense. (Unless you live in Florida, where you can carry a gun in public, approach an unarmed black person, shoot him, and then still claim self defense).

When cops shoot suspects, their bodies are riddled with bullets. If I had an intruder in my house I would put at least 3 bullets into the chest.

I don't know how the system works down there, but in America a good lawyer could get him off.

this, I've seen enough movies to know you don't turn your back on a dangerous criminal just because they've been shot once. Once I get a body hit I'm puttin 2 in the head.

Maybe I missed it but how did the authorities find out she was dead? Did Pistorius call the police or neighbors?

According to CNN: "Police were alerted to the shooting by neighbors, and residents had "heard things earlier," spokeswoman Denise Beukes said."

OK that's not good. He should have immediately placed a 911 call (or whatever their equivalent is) and said "I think there's someone in my house" and then he should have fired off a couple of more rounds while on the line.

This is devastating for his image. He's half the man we all thought he was.

So it seems he will be moving from one gated community with armed guards to another.

He should have been the bigger man and walked away.

And the South African media douches are going forward with the reality show, because "she was a beautiful, talented blah blah blah." No, it's because they have no souls.
