No shite, his skills diminished because of his injuries. He never played a full season in his entire career. It was downhill at 29 for McGrady. He had an 8 year stretch averaging 26ppg then averaged 7ppg in 3 seasons to finish his career because he had the back of a 70 year old.

Meanwhile, old guys like Kidd, Nash, Pierce, Ray Allen, Andre Miller, Jason Terry, Vince Carter, Jamison etc continue on contributing well into their 30s. Could've been McGrady.

All of those injury prone guys I listed showed flashes of being great. So has Gordon. They just never maximized their full potential due to injuries.

Gordon is clearly still rebounding from being dumped by the Clippers. He believed them when they said they wouldnt move him. When they did, it was like his first gf ditched him to date someone else and his heart broke.

He just wants a team to caress his cheek, look deep into his eyes and say "You're the only one I will ever need, baby. I promise I wont leave you like that other bitch. Its okay to love again"

I rather 8 great years of McGrady opposed to a 20 year career putting up crap in the twilight of their careers.
