MJ in 1988-89 was ridiculous: 32.5p, 8r, 8a, 54% FG for the entire season. Had 5-game stretch of 43ppg, 6.2r, 4.8s, 3.6a, 60.4% FG. Same season, MJ racked up 10 triple-doubles in an 11-game stretch, avg 33.6p, 11.3a, 10.8r, 51%FG. 6-6 guard in era of great big men.

Let's not even look at Wilt and Oscar's stats. Oscar averaged a triple double over the first 384 games of his career (5 seasons).

Don't bring stats here. The Lebron nut slurpers can't handle it.

And they are not old enough to know about an Oscar.

That's got to be the greatest achievement over a Season, but five,Wow.It will never be broken.I watched Oscar and Lew Alcindor, aka Kareem, win an NBA Championship together. The Big O made it look easy. All the great ones do.

you can't get on your high horse of STATS!! and then take them completely out of context.

Oscars triple double is a great accomplishment, but doesnt happen if the pace of the NBA isnt as fast as it was. More possessions = more scoring, rebounding, assisting, opportunities.
