What we have now is worse than a dictator.
We have a tyranny by the masses - the most ignorant of the masses - whose only mental capacity is how to take more from the producers of the country.
Under the guise of 'diversity' we have allowed - even celebrated - any kind of deviancy, sloth, indecency, disrespect. We have criminalized the normal thought process of making personal observations about whether or not something is productive or useful or attractive or relevant. The PC police have stifled normal reaction to stupid behavior.
Under the guise of 'compassion' we have gutted our most important asset as a civilization - the traditional two-parent family dedicated to making the future better for their children. We have replaced that magnificent structure with support for any kind dysfunctional structure.
It's going to be a hell of a ride - governed by the bar scene from Star Wars.
Enjoy - I will be checking out before the shitstorm hits. I will leave my greatgrandchildren well armed. God bless them.

Ruling class vs Working class. Simple as that. Dem or Repub, they both want to stay. They are equally evil and I would bet everything I own that they all high five and come up with new ways to increase their wealth and power when the cameras aren't on. You have to be immensely rich to get elected to congress. You can't even make any noise without the right (elitist) pedigree.
Term limits for Congress would be a GIANT step in the right direction, but it will NEVER happen.

They are well on their way to their goal. Since his quest for POTUS began to bring this country to its knees has ALWAYS been his goal. A mere glance at his life history, who raised him, who mentored him as a youth and his circle of friends as an adult revealed the ugly truth to those who bothered to look for themselves before November '08.
Ask yourself this. If somebody set out to bring this country down in order to remake it into something else, something authoritarian and socialist, what would they do? Your answer will be remarkably close to what Obama has done.

It's the best way to avoid them being successful with the above plan. We can't stop the crash of the dollar, but we CAN stop the imposition of their Authoritarian State when it happens.
State's rights...communities rule. Reboot, start from the ground up.

I disagree to an extent. I believe this country 'as-is' is finished. I hoped that wasn't the case but the November election confirmed it. Arguably the greatest failed presidency in American history was measured and given another four years. All because he was the more likely to give people shite. We found out the moochers, looters and layabouts are now a majority and those who produce and create have two choices:(1) submit to the moocher majority and spend the rest of your lives not as sovereign citizens but as tax slaves and serfs in Obamaland toiling away until some bureaucrat says you're too old to be treated and they put you down OR (2) find a way to decouple (secede) states whose populations reject tyrannical socialism, our proto-fascist president and respect and wish to live under a constitutional republic as our Founders intended.
As fundamentally divided as this country is now I can't see anyway that it survives as a whole unless one side is completely subjugated by the other. That cannot be done under our Constitution.
My hope is that when the financial collapse comes with the crash of the dollar, governors and legislatures in red states are ready and brave enough to bolt and declare independence from those who caused it. In that case, as it was in the collapsed Soviet Union, I don't believe the federal government would be able to do anything meaningful about it. I think it's the only hope we have for our children to grow up as our parents did.

Is Hugo Chavez a dictator? Wasn't he 'elected'? More than once?
Hell, Saddam Hussein was elected over and over for 35 years.
