re: Rubio >>> Jindal

Rubio just hit a home run. This guy is a very good speaker. Someone finally calling out Obama.

Do you also compare the taste of bottled water to puddles of water?

You mean the guy who was nervously twitching, had to take a pause for a bottle of water like a deer in the headlights, and was rushing his speech is a great speaker?

Considering Rove stated that his speech was written beforehand, it means a lot. Even Rove said it was all about delivery for this speech.

That's not the issue and you know it. If Obama wants to read off a Teleprompter, I don't care. Rubio can do it too, but you better look as poised doing it.

This...

It's his prime time moment and he wasn't perfect. Doubt it hurts him in any way though. He will live.

Rubio sucks on a prompter and a written speech. The man is INSPIRING off the cuff; he really don't need the prompter.

Did yall notice how he loosened up after the water; did what he had to do, dropped the 'image' game, and went to work. And that is the kind of leader that he will be.

Book it. There's your next nominee. Tea Party movin up!

He's normally much, much better.

Tonight he was still more than adequate.

People call out Obama all the time. It wasn't a home run and it wasn't a strike out. Actually nobody will even give a shite about this speech by Friday

I agree. But it's really unfair to call it a great speech, which is what I was replying to, when it was just adequate.

Well Obama has had just a little more time in front of the camera, don't ya think?
The guy got a little cottonmouth but he took a swig and continued. Can you argue with anything he said?
