I highly doubt that. Wilt averaged like 40 points over his first 8 seasons or whatever its almost impossible that he didn't have many many streaks like this

... oh shut the frick up. I'm not building anything. I'm explaining the rationale behind it. You aren't even arguing the same point as was. You're building a strawman that's easy for you to take down. I'm not advocating Parker to handle the ball more or anything. I'm advocating smart basketball and passing to the open man for spot up jumpers when the double comes instead of taking bad shots. Your points per FG stat only shows that Smush shouldn't be taking 2 points, which I didn't even advocate. But whatever. Keep arguing against nobody.

I'm sure ESPN wouldn't say it if they haven't done their studies. There are people who jobs are sports stats, you're just speculating from behind a keyboard

I've seen it on at least two different networks during the streak.

They probable mean since the merger not NBA history. Just think about it. It would such a ridiculous 1/100000000000000 statistical anomaly if Wilt never in his had a measly 6 game streak with 30 points shooting over 60%. I would bet anything he's had dozens of such streaks

Not what it says. It says first time in NBA history.
quote:
MIAMI -- LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to score 30 points and shoot at least 60 percent in six straight games, Chris Bosh scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and the Miami Heat held off the Portland Trail Blazers 117-104 on Tuesday night.
I dont know what else to tell you. It's hard to argue with someone when you provide proof and their only response is "i dont believe it". welll alrighty then....

In Wilt's first 10 seasons he played 787 games averaged 34 points and shot 53% from the field. Its almost impossible that he didn't have a 6 game streak, it would be the greatest statistical anomaly of all time They don't have game logs from the 60s which is again why they most certainly mean since the merger not NBA history. NBA history sounds better though so they say that instead.

So for six straight games he had to have a significantly higher fg% than his average while at the same time not once scoring even 5 points less than his average. You're right that's so easy

LeBron James became the only player in NBA history to score 30 points and hit more than 60 percent of his shots in six straight games after torching the Blazers for 30 points, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 11-of-15 shooting on Tuesday. Moses Malone and Adrian Dantley did it five straight times, but LeBron is the only one to do it six times. He had 30 points on 10-of-16 shooting on Feb. 3 to start the streak, and is averaging 31 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers on 74 percent shooting over his five games since then. He's unstoppable, and all that post-game has work clearly paid off for him, while the Heat have won eight straight at home and six straight overall.

Not impossible for LeBron though. Stop living in denial just admit the greatness in front of you. I'm sure if Wilt did it they would mention it. And still being the "first since Chamberlain" is still great even though Wilt didn't do it

Yeah. I don't understand what his point is. Wilt did it too, so what? Lebron's is still more impressive.

Yes its incredible easy to do that 6 times in a row over the course of 10 years Heck Kareem in 71 averaged 31.7 points a game while shooting 57.7% from the field pretty unlikely he didn't have a 6 game streak as well.
