hips need to get out of the way a little quicker in the transition from the backswing to the downswing. looks like you are getting stuck and playing catch-up with your hands at impact.

try to keep your right leg more bent in your back swing also

I was reading the Hogan book this morning and it said to keep the right leg in the same position throughout the backswing. Looked at the video and saw that immediately.

I think slowing down the backswing will allow me to more easily start the downswing with the hips more. Yes?

I'm heading back to the range tonight so I am gonna work on this stuff for sure.

Doesn't get enough love, IMO.

instead of slowing it down, try to squat into your backswing...normally the feeling of coming up and out of your swing is what is straightening your leg, do the opposite and have the sensation of squatting into your take away

Thanks. I'll try that this evening.

Is the left arm bending at the top of the backswing not as big of deal as I think? I really thought I was keeping it straight but obviously its not.

Which way? How do I fix that? You mean coming over the top by 10*? Definitely have slicing issues...

Negative is left of a square plane, positive is right of it. You fix it by not swinging across the ball.

Coming across the ball and swinging left are two different things. Understanding the difference will do wonders for your concept of how the swing works.
