Thanks. After watching some videos on wrist hinge, this seems to be a big problem of mine. Add it to the list.

Come on a flatter line on your back swing, not so up and down. Try to drag the club head above the grass until you have to pick it up

You get in a really good position at the top. The issue is how you get there. You are picking the club up to the outside, so your downswing is out to in causing that slice, and to get too steep coming into the ball. That's probably why you hit a lot of shots fat.

Here we go again. Round 4: LINK

I worked on a flatter backswing and keeping it inside. Definitely hit it straighter today. My swing has come a LONG damn way in a week thanks to ya'll. Here is a combination video of my swings: LINK

good to hear. went to the range today for the first time in about 2 months(started a new job at the first of the month and can only play Sundays which I refuse to do) and hit the ball incredibly well. straightest I've ever driven the ball

I need to spend some time on the range one of these days instead of playing.

Not bad man. You've definitely improved. I like your rhythm and your commitment to the shot. You've definitely done a better job of using your pivot/hips to lead the downswing instead of your shoulders.

Like JJ said, next thing to work on is relaxing those arms a bit and allowing your wrists to hinge.

Gracias. Definitely still a work in progress, but the improvement has been quite drastic as far as consistency, distance, and accuracy goes. Kinda amazed at how much some of the stuff came naturally.

Played today. I hit 4/7 fairways and 3/9 greens. Before I was lucky to get a few fairways and any greens. If I woulda had a better read on greens speed, I would have probably set a personal best score for 9 holes.

Been working on the wrist hinge. Also working on keeping my head still on the downswing. Letting myself sway a little much. Definitely better than before, but always can improve.

Giving myself one or two things to work on each round. Don't wanna overload the old brain.

A new set of videos I posted yesterday evening. It was about 6pm so the shadows may be a problem.
I'm seeing definite improvement in the consistency of my shots going where I'm targeting but along with the straighter swing I've lost some distance. Most noticeably with my driver, it's probably 25 yards shorter, with my irons basically all losing 5-10 each.
I also get just a slight cut, and I mean just ever so slight, with about 25% of the shots. They usually land within a yard or two with the short irons and wedges but within five to ten with my driver and longer irons. I'm not sure if this is an overcompensation from the draw swing or what but I can live with the results.
I still have a lot of work to do getting more consistent but I like the results so far. Next stop: short game Right now I'm putting so bad I think I'd be better off just kicking the ball

Bump bump.

Finally got another swing on video.

LINK

Hit this drive with a fade to middle of the fairway. My tempo was off on this swing. Seems a bit fast for my normal swing.

My swing has come a long way since March when I posted my first video.
