ahh, thats the reason for the lvl 8 Air Defense. I've got 3 upgraded to lvl 4. one being upgraded to lvl 5.

takes sooooo long to max out everything at TH8...
3 - lvl 6 mortars
5 - lvl 10 cannons
5 - lvl 9 archer towers
3 - lvl 6 wizard towers
3 - lvl 4 aa's
3 - lvl 3 teslas
225 pieces of wall, clan castle, 3 gold storage, 3 elixir storage, 1 dark elixir drill, 1 dark elixir storage.
i think i'm still a week away from upgrading to TH9, i've been on TH8 for 2 months at least.
i have 4 archer towers to lvl up to 10, 2 teslas to lvl 4, my cc to lvl 5, and 2 more aa's to lvl 5. plus i want to upgrade another 15 pieces of wall to lvl7

5 - lvl 9 archer towers
3 - lvl 6 wizard towers
3 - lvl 4 aa's

I'm going to get my Wiz towers to level 6 and my Teslas to level 4 because I think that'll just about stop most of the mass level 6 archer/barb/giant raids.
Right now I'm using gold to upgrade walls (12 pieces to level 8) because as I finish up a Tesla and a Mortar I was getting hit hard whenever I hit 1.5 mil gold or more.
I can't decide if I should stay at TH8 and get most of my walls black without real risk, but without being able to stockpile Dark Elixir, or if I should go ahead and jump to TH9 in a couple weeks so I can spend my elixir.

i'm going to wait til TH9 before worrying about walls any higher than lvl 7. i've got around 150 lvl 7 right now.

In summary, I still need to upgrade all archers to 10, all AAs to 4, all teslas to 3 and 4. Everything else is good. I would guess I am 2 weeks away from pulling the plug and upgrading to TH9. And then it is 10 days of wall upgrades

what do you mean stockpile DE? do you just mean you cant have 2 drills at TH8? You can upgrade all the way to 80,000 DE storage at TH8 I believe
