More pertinently, why did music get its own board when it was empirically demonstrated (repeatedly) that there were consistently more tech threads generated on the OT?
Quite simply, the board lineup is completely illogical and is suggestive of a process that seeks not to create the most balanced, sensible offering of message boards, but instead caves to incessant pandering from certain users.
As another user mentioned, the fact that it's 2013 and this site is still bereft of a tech board is embarrassing, particularly when there are dedicated boards to discuss music, fantasy sports, and...soccer.
We've been at this for over a year now...

Because they get buried under bullshite and there are like 20-25 Tech threads a day, way more than say music ever had.
