well said. it's the realistic view of likely about 20% of 20somethings in NYC. the media and the critics just love to praise and glorify sex-driven shows like this as if 99% of the population is the same way.

yeah you totally can go hang out in brooklyn for a couple years and run into 1, maybe 2 black guys
seems like the show presents a version of NYC without the people it doesn't want associated with NYC

she addressed this issue on Howard Stern and said that she or someone (I don't remember who) will have a black boyfriend next season due to the media pressure about it.
of course she didn't say it exactly like that because that would be politically incorrect, but that's basically what she meant.
