The 8350 is a great processor, and should be used over the 3570k with a 670/7950 or lower. I'll try to find the benches where the 3570k runs better with 680/7970

Everything I read says intel has the edge especially with an amd gpu. Nvidia however relies on the processor less. I'm on my phone now but the article on toms I read said if u go amd CPU then go nvidua gpu. I know there was a thread on this a couple of weeks back.

Yep I saw that somewhere too. Weird the AMDs own video cards don't work as well with their processors.

Comical really. That's why I'm thinking I may go with an amd CPU an nvidia gpu but I'm not sure yet.
