What's a good price for a used Marlin 22?

I have some e-mail alerts set up in case one comes in close to me, but I may look into a used one.

I really just want a dependable .22 I can plink with without breaking the bank.

A model 60 or 39?

60's are a dime a dozen while 39's will be more expensive

I'm not familiar with the 39. I shot a 60 a few years ago and liked it, but never got around to picking one up.

Gotcha.

The way I figure out how much guns are worth is check gunsamerica.com and see what they're selling for. It's no appraisal service or anything, but it will give you a good enough idea to keep you from getting ripped off.
