They say that this year class was based on 2011 season. So using that logic we screwed.

The only issue I see with 2014 is possibly making numbers work.

Seriously, people freak out so early on this. We have 3 in-state WRs who have offers who are considered better than Sims. THREE. I mean it's not like Sims is the top WR in the state or something. Yes he's very good, but if the staff only wants 4 WRs, and they feel good about all 3 they offered in the state and 1 big time OOS guy (or, dare I even bring him up - D'haquille Williams), Sims wont get an offer unless they feel like we'll lose someone else they feel is better.
Would anyone honestly be upset if we planned to take 4 WRs and they were Quinn, Noil, Dupre and D'haquille Williams? Does anyone want Sims over any of those 4? Yes, he's a great talent, but is he better than those guys?
On top of that, between now and NSD we'll offer SEVERAL more LA kids. Look how many we offered from Feb. 2012 to days before Feb NSD 2013.

In regard to the possible problem with making the #s work, I was glad to see no grey-shirts given to anyone, hopefully including Lawson. Heard reports over the last 2 months of some possibilities along those lines--good thing none were given to save room for a full class of 25 signees one year from now.
Also, I would hope everyone signed in 2014 is a high school recruit, don't see any JUCO's being necessary.

I know we have a lot of attrition togo from now till fall 2014, but we are at 85 now with 9 scholarship seniors.
That means from now till fall of next year we have to lose 16 scholarship non-seniors to attrition ... but we got 1.5 off-seasons to get there and normally lose about 10ish guys between each year (granted we already lost like 10 this year).

Well, they HAVE to work, I mean, not like we can have 87 scholarship players
Just some seasons it's "uglier" than others for attrition. Unless we have a semi-mass exodus to eh 2014 NFL draft, we gun see some major changeover in the next year.

I'm curious to see how aTm and UGA make the numbers work for them. I'm not as familiar with UGA's number crunch but I'm somewhat up to speed with aTm's and is the SEC just going to show how completely impotent they truly are when they do nothing to reprimand them?
