No inside info just curious.

There's a lot of talk about 2014 possibly being the best class ever at LSU. I there anyone here that feels we could all be let down at this time next year or do you think we have a good number of them on lock? To answer part of my question, Bama having so many RB's and aTm so many WR's we just may get it.

RB thoughts.

No. We are raping Texas of 3 outta 4 of their best DB's off the bat.

We gonna be so stacked.

In regards to the overall class, no. But when it comes to Hootie, Sims and Robinson I can get all I want.

We are going to have probably our best class ever, but yes, there will be some MAJOR meltdowns over 1 or 2 in-state kids. We just wont land them all.

Then what's the inside scoop on these guys? You said you had no inside info and then you follow it up by saying you have a ton of inside info on three of the more highly regarded instate 2014 players.

I think most that follow LA recruiting are saying this is potentially the best Louisiana class ever as evidenced by the strong class of juniors in the camps recently dominating this current class of seniors. Guys like Quinn, fornette etc. put on a show. If we pull everyone we want from LA and add the out of staters it will probably be the best class ever, on paper.

If you look at my post again you will see that I was asking about the overall class not just those 3. Two of them work for me and the third has applied to work for me
( they ref youth football and basketball games). I also work with their coaches on bringing different sporting events to the schools. All I will say right now in order to avoid messing things up is that Sim, who will all know is without an LSU offer at this time, was offered by TCU, Texas Tech and Bama this week. He'll probably end up at LSU if offered but will enjoy the process. I kust hope LSU doesnt wait to offer while putting out feelers to ither guys and miss out on him. He is physically ready to play in the SEC right now. Hootie is all about his mom but he's also all about Hootie. Also, he wasn't big on being overshadowed locally by Diarse which could weigh on his decision. I could see him going elsewhere. For Robinson it all about having his family in his ear. His dad/stepdad is Jarome or Shuan King( can't remember which) and they've done the college and pro thing. Cam likes to do what they think is beat for him so convincing them will be big. From talking to coach Shows I think we will be ok but he can definitely be persuaded to do the opposite based on the fact he had no problem leaving Ouachita thanks to his family.

It really depends on how their recruiting goes. Hell they still need to offer Sims. I would hate to lose any of them and I hope we don't. Thy haven't said anything to make me think they won't come. I think the attention thy get will play a huge part. The last thing we need is for an OOS school to hit them harder than their state univ.

I hope we offer Sims as well but I'm so sick of how LSU not offering an instate player is thought to be some sort of slight these days. Big deal, you weren't offered in February of 2013 when you won't sign till February of 2014.

There is a RB at Ouachita as well that I posted about named Nigel Dora( he refs for me and his dad coaches ) and when his dad called me this week he said his son got to talk to Saban while he was there to see Sims. Dora could be a sleeper.

I hear ya. He and his dad, like these other guys' officiated for me on weekends. It was funny listening to the stuff their family was hearing about his recruiting and how they just let people go on believing what they heard. He really got them going the night of the BCSNC.

Alabama signed four running backs in this class. They have another RB committed already for 2014 and are recruiting Fournette as well as others.

Does Dora really believe that he's actually getting legitimate love from Nick Saban or does he realize he's just being used to get closer to Sims?

Or are these kids really so self-absorbed that they honestly believe him?

That reminds me, why is Bo Scarborough rated as an ATH on rivals? Smoke and mirrors to help Bama recruit even more RB's?
