With the offensive style we have, the guard positions to me are almost interchangable. I mean Carmouche averages more assists per game as an off guard. Each player has the ball in their hands.
I am really intrigued how Coach Jones will utilize the players coming in next season. Should be a fun season for sure.

Don't get your hopes up on Darcy Malone! I hear the LSU band is making a strong push to get him at tuba! Rumors they don't really need/want him but doing it as retaliation!

yea i hear ya. hickey is just a special player though, as we have seen. if he's still here next year it gives us a lot more potential as a team, obviously.
this could be as a deep a team we've had in years. and i mean actual quality depth, not just numerical. it will be priceless to have guys like shavon coleman and stringer as seniors. they'll be key much like carmouche has been to this team.

Of course! I love Hickey and I hope he is a four year guy. I also like having a true PG but I think Jones will really require 2-3 guards on the court at a time who can dribble. Hopefully Quarterman is that.

This team next year could be spuer special. If JOB and Hickey stayed for their Senior year, that could be just an amazing team.

Jones big thing is length and athleticism. He will bring in guys who are long and can run the court. While I am not sure if Deng makes it to campus, LSU will be bringing in 5-6 guys next season who all fit the mold of long and athletic.
Should make for a really solid press and fast paced offense. The team could really go 13 deep next season which is unheard of. I don't know where they are gonna be able to take the minutes from.
