Take a trip to Winnfield, La. and ask around for hog dogs. There used to be several folks breeding dogs.
There used to be baying dog competitions in Winnfield. Pretty fun watching those things corner a hog and bay it. This was done in a maybe 2 tennis court sized enclosed circle.
Anyone know if they still do this?

Far as I know they still do it. I used to go to the one in Plain Dealing quite a bit.
We used to just relocate for people. We would catch them and tie them up and then take them to property some of the guys owned and dump them off so they could do guided hunts.
