There were still 3 minutes left but for some reason I knew it was over as soon as TP took it to the house.

eta: And I admit, it's damn near impossible for me to not get teary-eyed when I watch the reaction videos.

Still get a smile on my face.

Being able to call and talk to my Dad after, who sat through all of the shite from 1967 on... just pure joy.

Yea, I knew it right after the interception.

I ran outside and just took off running down the street screaming.


Nothing comes close to that night. I cried like a little bitch. Every person was happy, and it was euphoria. I'm not sure if anything could ever top it.

About 14 hours later, my son was born. Possibly the greatest 24 hour stretch in my life.
