When I watch the USMNT, I just feel like I'm watching a single match on repeat. A couple moments of brilliance, terrible losses of possession, laziness on the ball and a complete lack of heart towards the end.

this shite is the most frustrating thing ever. we are so bad at keeping possession that it makes me honestly believe my club and high school teams could keep possession better than the team out there today could. is that the most retarded thought ever? frick yeah it is. that's just how bad we are at possessing the thing, though.

I haven't read everyone's comments, but a couple things I noticed. First this Honduras team is not the same Honduras of five years ago. They are much more physical, athletic, and talented than their previous teams. The same can be said for Mexico and Jamaica. This might be the hardest hex we have ever played.

That being said, this squad is talented enough to beat these teams. I feel like it is deeper than its ever been, but the squad is poorly prepared and lacks identity.

Altidore again suffered from poor service and I feel that we might have been better served to play Gomez. Our pressure from the get go was all wrong. By pressing our Cdm and CBs Honduras forced a lot of turnovers by Bradley. On the other hand out forwards didn't press or chase and our mids sank into our own half which let Honduras move their mids into our end. Espinoza made a living off of this today.

I agree that the first game of the hex is not the time to play Cameron and Gonzalez together. Boca would've been an asset in the hostile environment and has played with Cameron before IIRC.

It feels like every game we are left with more questions than answers.
