Yea or Nay?? I thought the previews looked OK, but then I never heard anything about it, bad or good.

I've lost a lot of respect for Depp lately, especially with this Lone Ranger money-grab nonsense. He can be a good actor in a good movie, but he hasn't in quite a while.

He needs to pepper in a few indie films in-between all of the paycheck crap.
And the answer to the OP is that I am sure DS is total crap.

I liked it. It was hokey like the original soap opera.
It's a little quirky and weird at times, but it's still fun.
And Depp is one of the best actors of his generation. I can forgive him a late career money grab after doing nothing but artistic, character-driven roles throughout what should have been the highest earning period of his career.
Still wish they had made a faithful rendition of the Club Dumas, but I still like the Ninth Gate.

I wasn't comfortable seeing Hit Girl with tits coming in. It's like frick, now I can't watch you in a movie without wondering when you'll be legal in all 50 states (That'll be February 10, 2015 if anyone is curious).

It's one of two movies I ever walked out of (other was Barbershop 2). Movie is seriously awful and I'm a very easy to please guy when it comes to movies

The character of Barnabus Jones was awesome, but the rest of the movie suffered from embarrassingly bad writing.

It was a silly and funny movie. Don't listen to the people that take this stuff too seriously.

Knew she looked familiar from something I seen a while back and then I remembered she was in an episode of My Name is Earl like 5-6 years ago. She is older now, but was very young in this episode.
