Same thing the authorities were missing. His bloody suit.
Oh, evidence. Yea thats kinda important. My understanding is there was a knife, no prints. And the guys blood was in his limo. Is self-defense not the most likely scenario?
Either way, it's not like most critics are really heart broken for these "victims". Can anyone name them with out looking it up?

He plead and did time. If he's not a murderer he knows who is.
Also, in six weeks he came back from an injury that guys usually get put on IR for, even in pre-season. He tore his triceps and seemed fine. Justin Smith got a partial tear and is nowhere near his usual self. Something not quite right there.

The facts of the case:
1. Ray Lewis and 2 friends got in a fight with 2 guys earlier in the night. The same 2 guys were later found stabbed to death.
2. Ray Lewis wore a white suit to the club the night of the murder. That white suit still has never been recovered.
3. Blood from one of the victims was found in Lewis' limo.
4. Months later, Ray gets a plea agreement and his 2 friends are aquitted.

I like how after the pick, when the fight broke out, he just went to the bench and watched. "frick that shite, too old"

Are you saying what I think you're saying? Ray Lewis murdered his torn triceps!!!!

Clearly, they were driving by, saw that somebody mugged and stabbed the guy, and they were on the way to take him to the hospital.
After he got in the limo, he saw Ray Lewis was in there and he immediately wanted out, and died because of his foolish pride.

at the Super Bowl party I went to yesterday pretty much every person who was cheering for the 49ers said they were doing so because of "the murderer Ray Lewis"
You should party with cooler people.

So does that mean deer antler spray brings the dead back to life?

I think a certain percentage of his criticism is because of his race, but I think more of it has to do with his putting his "faith" out there.
The fact that he announced his retirement has put him straight into the lime-light again as well. When you are in the middle of the lime-light, you open yourself up to being dissected.
You also have to keep in mind that most people are casual fans, so there opinions are story driven, so if something about him rubs you the wrong way, its easy to grab something negative about that person and run with it. This especially applies to women. Think about the fact that Kris Humprhies and Lamar Odom were voted two of the most unpopular athletes.
Nobody cares about all of the players on the 49ers or Ravens who have kids outside of marriage, or with women who or not their wife.
Nobody cares about their boss fricking everything that walks, or their neighbor, or best friend. However, everybody gave a frick about Tiger Woods.
Professional sports is becoming about stories and drama, that is why I find myself leaning toward college and high school sports now.

I've done some google/research and can't find any evidence to support this claim. Involved, certainly. But committed 1st degree murder? I'm legitimately asking what am I missing.
I don't think he did the stabbing. He was there, and he was covered in blood, but I think his buddies did the killing. And I think that they got off because Ray Ray wouldn't snitch. Whatever deal he made with the police at a much later date was way too vague, and enough doubt had already been created on the investigation that a guilty verdict could not be reached.
To me, the fact that he let guilty men go free is bad enough. I will refuse to watch whatever NFL pre-game/post-game gig that he gets.

Of course someone had to make this thread about race.

He goes from 2 counts of involuntary manslaughter, to obstruction of justice (misdemeanor)

All I know is that Ray-Ray had a mediocre game, at best last night. Seems like every time I looked up, someone was faking his arse out or running past him. But he has a couple more rings than I do, so what do i know...
He has a pretty mediocre season. There were several athletes on his own team that deserved more attention than him.

Did is just become a talking point and get spread all of the sudden? Where has this "outrage" been for the last 13 years?
It's clearly a reaction to the increased attention he has gotten with his retirement announcement and the storyline of "the end of a great career of a great person" that some of the media tried to push and the perceived self-aggrandizing, self-righteous, holier than thou, you don't know the obstacles I've had to overcome parade through the post-season by Ray Lewis himself.
Before people just dismissed him as a thug. Now people are reacting to being preached at by someone they don't respect and reacting to the media glorifying someone who they don't believe deserves it.

you have not been paying attention then since 2000 have you? it has ALWAYS BEEN THERE! It is just magnified when he is successful like the ravens were this year.

If he was white, would still have the same man-crush on him?
