My dog met this at the dog park. He was pretty confused. 
I knew a girl once who kept talking about how she wanted a pet monkey. I explained to her about how monkeys love to throw their own shite around and masturbate all day.
She changed her mind.

Good thinking with the collar 
I had a turtle I caught for a while. Painted it with chrome paint and set it loose. Would see it a couple times a year for a long time. I would repaint every sighting.
