For another ex's birthday I surprised her with flowers and 50 yard line seats to the LSU game that day. For that same girl I made her a mix tape cd with songs that reminded me of her and I wrote down the reasons they did, then read it to her while we listened to it.
Nice-that would have worked for me.

Its not so much where you go as long as you go together. I see so many of my friends who seem to be living there lives separate from each other. The connection gets lost & that's when temptation usually steps in.
My SO's bestie is dealing with this. They're fumbling through trying to figure it out but this is it. She spends as much time, if not more, with us than with him. She's even coming out to CA next week with my SO and leaving him behind. She's a real sweetheart and has cried on both our shoulders more than once lately. I feel bad for her. She's absolutely stunning and her hubby is really playing with fire IMO. My SO tells me she is flat out an a-hole to all the guys that hit on her. Sooner or later one will come along that passes the litmus test.

Yeah I actually really enjoy going to sporting events as well, even if it's something I don't follow, so it's a good activity for us to do together. One time I mailed him a massive box filed with about ten kinds of American cereal and chocolate. Reese's puffs, lucky charms, coco puffs, Hershey's kisses... etc. They don't have any of that over there and he loves it. It was really expensive to mail but he said he felt like a kid on Christmas morning when he opened it. I think I get just as much joy as he does out of doing that kind of stuff. It's so much fun.

Then she is not ready to date anyone else & is still in love with her husband. Or she has a wall around her heart-I can relate.

I can't remember anything specific, but I used to leave a love note on my gf's car in the UL parking lot when I would get finished with class 1st. I would look for her car among hundreds of cars and wouldn't leave until I found it to leave her a note. Thank goodness her car was unique Usually something like "I'm thinking about you, bey. I hope you had a good day. I'll be waiting for you to get home" She did the same for me and I kept them all.

She kicked him out the house for a month but wouldn't even look at another guy. There was a line of broken hearts where we live while they were separated. She is pretty funny really. She will hug the SO and me and tell us she loves us both when she leaves our house then walk off the front steps and be a complete arse to someone.

So is it time yet to tell the worst things you've done? I once gave my SO 3 stool softeners instead of aspirin. Oops.

The best part was that none of his Japanese friends knew what it was. He got one of them to take a picture of him kneeling and chugging and he tried to explain it. They couldn't wrap their head around it

Nah she doesn't really. I've been around crazy people. She isn't one. She's just very strong willed. She runs her own business.
