He could have a ton of playing time as a true freshman...

This part does defy logic. He scheduled the announcement because he won't pass up a chance at the ESPN spotlight.
You could equally argue that "why would he visit LSU if his mind was made up?"
He is a kid and he is soaking in the sun. He's just loving every second of this. All signs indicate he's going to Ole Miss. But would you turn down what we are giving him this weekend?
