exactly .. all up and down airline down there, you can just see the horrible lack of planning and foresight .. the real fun is coming up when you have to build a few more schools and eventually have to overhaul the already over-tapped sewer system .. i have seen some insane estimates of what it is going to cost to do that .. eventually, i can see people down there have property taxes of close to $10K a year ..

all my grass is deader then hell and I like it that way. I am seriously considering just poisoning my whole yard this year to avoid cutting grass but the front alone is about 10 acres so that might not be such a great idea.

Well they plan on building another school across from where Galvez Middle is now in that Pasture and I saw where they want another one in Gonzales and possibly over near Pelican Point. They just built like 5 new primary/elementary schools in the past 3 years and they want at least 3-5 more. Hell because of all the new subdivisions and what not I'm seeing houses that never had water in their yard now flood when it rains for a day or so. Tommy Martinez doesn't seem to have thought this all the way out on how he plans on handling all the growth.

yeah, along with the over tapped sewage system .. drainage is horrible now too .. there just is NO planning whatsoever going on down there .. they are just throwing up subdivisions left and right with zero regard for what adding them to an already over taxed system is going to do ..

I keep laughing because they keep building these little strip mall areas and yet many of the buildings in them stay empty. The people that do rent/lease them end up closing within 3/4 months and I am actually surprised Nooleys has stayed open 6 months now

there are a lot of those along airline .. and there are a lot "for lease" signs in those windows .. and yes, you can see the procession of businesses that go in and out of business in those places ... and, if you notice, in the poor planning department, they have a lot competing business categories in the same strip mall too ..

Yup you can only put so many hair salons, nail studios, boutiques in the same strip mall before it becomes over saturated.

Yeah, other than the fact that its the whole brother against brother thing, it's a rather boring matchup this year. Only good thing about it to me is the Alabama players. ETA: Funny thing is, they are all playing for the Ravens and I hate the Ravens so I am pulling for the 49'ers. I guess being a Raiders fan I have to represent the Bay Area.

You know I am amazed, not 1 high school student or parent has sued because their kid had a concussion from football but a high school cheerleader did because of a concussion...

Its not you. The game has lost a HUGE amount of luster since about the mids 90's.
