What's the OB's opinion of this rifle?

That looks pretty interesting. I'd get it.

Usually Mossberg tells me do not want, but the first one looks nice. Second looks like something from Toys R Us

If it's legal to hunt with, I want one.

I don't see why it wouldn't be...because it has rails and other modern features? I will say this...she isn't the prettiest gal in town.

What's the price point on this?

i'm not following you on the legal question... why wouldn't it be?
Posted on 2/2/13 at 8:38 am to LSUlefty
I don't like it for many reasons.

The adjustable stock makes it "tactical." (Rolled Eyes) I know that would make it illegal in some states, but we're in La.

Like everyone else said, why the heck wouldn't it be legal? Do you have insight on some hunting regulations that we don't?
But as far as that rifle goes, it feels and looks cheap in your hand. It is unattractive to say the least, and looks and feels like something Kel-Tec would make
The action is super choppy, but I'm
Comparing that to the old 94 and a Henry action that I'm familiar with.
Price isn't bad at 400-450 but I wouldn't come off that

Why on earth would you need/want three safeties on a lever action or any gun for that matter?
Posted on 2/2/13 at 9:13 am to ZacAttack
The lever safety, which newer Winchesters also have, is complete junk.
The tang safety is an insult on a gun with an exposed hammer.
I'm glad Marlin didn't go for either of these on their rifles.
I can live with the cross bolt safety, I actually use it only when unloading the rifle.
If it ever costs me a deer, though it will be gone.

you can remove the cross bolt safety, and I am sorry but that tacticool lever looks like a plastic piece of shite. When it comes to levers I am a traditionalist.

the Tacticool one is ugly as all hell

Tacticool lever action, no thanks.

You put a laser/night sight/flash light on that tactical one, and you'd be a hog dropping fool.
