Fair play... I'll admit that I grew up absolutely hating him.. since I was pretty close minded and was into punk rock and more college bands...
But I remember a friend I met in college (89-90 or so) was a huge fan and had all his records... Thats where I really came across his older output and fell in love with it... especially, this era... And then seeing him live just cemented it... nothing better and I am definitely more inclined to see shows in 100 capacity dumps...
1973: Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.
1973: The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle
1975: Born to Run
1978: Darkness on the Edge of Town
1980: The River
1982: Nebraska
