Kevin Gates - The Luca Brasi Story

He just dropped this mixtape on LiveMixtapes. I'm listening to it now, and it's the typical Gates sound. Jamaican accent, catchy hooks, and nice flow; has some nice songs but some I just have to skip.
What's yalls opinion on him? I know ppl that love him, and then some that hate him.

I like him but it gets plays so much around here that I had to stop listening to him. Ill give it a listen

I feel like it's getting a lot better towards the back half of the mixtape. Neon Lights is damn good, the hook at least.

I'd say 6 or 7 are really good. I only put 10 songs on my phone though. There was a stretch in the middle where I just had to skip about 5-6 songs.

I have only listened to a few songs. Sounds a lot better than In the Mean Time so far, IMO. I just hope it's more rapping/freestyling and less singing. I can't deal with the whiney/crying/singing weird thing he's been recently doing in some of his songs. I'm expecting I will like The Luca Brasi Story much more... we'll see.
