I don't disagree with this. However if most models show temperatures and sea levels rising, then it is important to understand the implications.
Granted I have seen extreme that predictions that would put Baton Rouge as beach front property in a 50 years. Look at island nations such as the Maldives or Kiribati looking to buy land due to sea level rise. LINK

Global war ... uh, climate cha ... oh h3ll, it's all a bunch of 2hit placed upon us by people making a living off of grants and used by politicians to further their agendas. The 2 can no longer be separated. It is costing we the people untold amounts of dollars to "control" CO2 which we cannot make a noticeable dent in for the good and/or bad.

We are so self centered it stinks.
Has it been hotter? Yes it has? Is this the perfect temperature for the Earth? I guess it depends where you live.
The truth is climate has changed for centuries, what we have now is going to change for better or for worse depending on where you live, and there is nothing we can do about it.
The politicians would ahve you believe they can stop climate change, but they can not. All they can do is take your money and gain more power.

There is simply not enough longitudinal data. It could turn out to be true but there really is no hard data that will support it. We are talking about the life of a planet that we just happen to live on. The life and evolution of this planet has not been recorded long enough. To think some of these scientists know one way or another is foolish.

Why would you disregard it? The earth is clearly warming. It's been warming for thousands of years. That (by itself) neither proves nor disproves AGW, nor refutes the refined relationship between solar emission and the climate.

I too have been studying this phenomenon for many years and agree, The sun does contribute to heating our planet. And I might add, I didn't use a dime of taxpayer money to figure this out.

I am also fascinated by this connection between the sun and warmer temperatures. I'm about to conduct my own experiment in which I will hit small, dimpled balls with both wood and iron objects in an attempt to deposit them in a small hole. If I repeat this 18 times I think I can arrive at some solid data.

Me too. I have a black car and it sat out in the bright sun for hours the other day. I noticed when I touched the car that it was hot.
Later the same car sat in same place but at night (no sun).
Interesting enough, it was cool to the touch.
So I'm thinking, all conditions were the same except for the presence of the sun. I observed that the car was hot in the sun, but not hot without the sun.
Admittedly, it is not very scientific, but I think I'm on to something big.

Maybe, but this sounds more like the work of an unquiet spirit. Have you recently done anything to anger the spirit world? Haunted cars are annoying but who you gonna call?
