Yea rly. It's really not that big of a head ache. I have never had an issue crossing Nicholson during a game. Of course I use the crosswalk where the cop stops traffic for me. I don't play frogger in the middle of the road I don't have to walk 100 more yards.

We walk across between Nicholson ext and Burbank and it's not difficult to do there. I wouldn't do it with a little kid though, but some people do.

ETA: By the way, it would not cost 50 million dollars. They can build a school for that much.

Interesting. Sure could help out a lot of students every day though. Even more so if this development occurs; more people will be looking to cross from campus to this development.

If there was a bridge built, people would bitch about having to walk up 4 flights of stairs.
There's too many easement issues with a bridge at any location with a transmission line, natural gas pipeline, railroad, and 4-lane divided industrial highway.

And it's you. I've been to over 80 games in the New Alex Box and for the last two years there have been two LSU Police officers at the Nicholson/Burbank/Gourrier intersection. One is working the signal control box, the other moves out into traffic to indicate when the pedestrians can cross.

A continuous flow of pedestrian traffic would be great with a bridge but I can understand that the costs may be too much given the rewards. Just a thought.
