That link is for "Greater Louisiana". The New Orleans version of the site still lists the old values. I'll have to check when I get home. I have premier, and would greatly like the switch to 50d/10u instead of 25d/2.5u. I can't speak for others but I surely will saturate as much pipe as they give me.

Cox had the hamsters working overtime last night. I was getting 30Mbps on speed test last night.

Had that for awhile too but i have always seen a much faster up than what thay advertise. right now with the new preferred i get around 14Mbps up which is pretty cool when gaming

Well, you would but Cox isn't telling you that you are still limited to the bandwidth being pushed out at the other end of your link. Cox speed doesn't matter if the guy sending you the information is throttled back.

If I do speedtest app from my phone and am paying for the premier I should be seeing 63MBPS?

I just checked my premier in Southdowns. Late at night, I used to be able to hit 35-37/12. Today, after the upgrade, I got 25/10. No change for me
Just checked again, and it was 23/6.
One more time showed 31/10. I dunno if my phone is N-capable, but I can regularly get 45+Mb/s on 4G lte
I have a docsis 3 also. I get double those speeds on 4G on my phone

Hasn't changed at my house 2 miles from LSU. Probably 15% of the people in this neighborhood are younger people so no gaming all day or massive torrent downloads

Depends on what 802.11 protocol and what freq your phone supports.

when i lived around there i always had slows speeds bc of high traffic. it sucked. do you have the new modem?
