Meh, Robb was worthless. Needed him to die to move the plot along.

I liked Robb a lot. He was everything Eddard was, which made me feel like, if he survived, that Winterfell would be just as strong as it was before Edward left for King's Landing. Now, of all the various bids for power, Dany is who I'm rooting for. And, that's far from where I was on her at the beginning

Dude was the fricking KING OF THE NORTH. Never lost a fricking battle. He was Ned's son, and Westeros needed him dammit.

Robb's character was genius. He raised the North and gave the reader hope. Thus, his tragic demise at the Red Wedding was so much more epic.

Maybe so, but Grey Wind was bad arse. He didn't deserve to go out like that.
