Or else he'd that virtually all vendors at gun shows are FFL dealers and follow the law.

Bull shite. Google the name "Colin Goddard" and how he easily purchased weapons at gun shows without identification.

Where would YOU go to buy some particular firearms if you didn't wish to be tracked?
I sure as hell would go to a gun show where most of the vendors are FFLs!

If I wanted to buy a gun for illicit use, I'd probably buy it from someone on the street. Just like illegal drugs (which are supposedly unavailable, without a background check from your doctor).

If you can't keep drugs off the streets what makes you think you can do it with guns?

I can't believe I'm the first one to bring this up, but wasn't the gun show loophole related to the waiting period after a background check? At the shows, the waiting period is waived, right? Wasn't that the loophole?

How would you do that if you wanted a particular model? And WHY would you go through that trouble when you can easily get it at a gun show? And why are you making up crap as you go along?

I call bs on you bs call. I mean as long as we're counting anecdotal evidence.

Beside, literally millions of dollars of illegal drugs swap hands without identification every day in this country.

There is no waiting period per say, but you could be delayed for any number of reasons. You could also get a proceed with no wait. I think the more common your name is the greater the change for the delay.

What the frick are you laughing at? It is obvious that you don't know what you are talking about. The fact that you laugh at my legitimate answer shows your ignorance.

If I'm looking to use a gun for something illicit, rather than collection or sporting, I wouldn't see any reason to for a particular make and model. Pretty much any one will work. But thanks for pointing out a legitimate reason for gun shows.

How is that relevant? If we outlawed liquor in grocery stores will it mean fewer drunk drivers?

And why are you making up crap as you go along?
What do you suppose I've "made up"?

Rex, go ahead and google both TOR and the Silk Road, as I'm quite certain you've never heard the terms before, much less know what they mean.

I'll wait.

Really, you are the most ignorant poster on this topic it isn't even close.

You asked where to buy guns other then a dealer, well jack arse you can look there and go buy one from individuals. Because GUESS what Box of ROCKS, gun shows aren't held everyday.

A gun show is a virtual gun dealer where you go to buy guns without background checks.

Just when I thought Rex was the most ignorant poster here. You come with this claim and are coming in a close 2nd.

quote:

but don't act like you're intellectually superior because people disagree with you.

I am just more informed. Your post make it clear that you are just as ignorant on this matter as REX.

quote:

Without these shows there would be less gun sales; therefore, sales without background checks are supported by manufacturers.

The only guns sold at gun shows are between two individuals neither of which are a dealer and therefore the sale from the manufacturer doesn't see a cent from that sale. But keep posting your ignorance.

EDITED for REX = The above statement was to clearly nullify the argument that manufactures don't want gun checks at gun shows because it would cost them money. There are already check there when dealing with a dealer, but Rex knows this.
