The way I see it, there is about a 6-12 point difference in average team speed (depending on DH). Verbally, an increase from average speed, to above average speed. We certainly won't be burners, but hopefully the number of double plays we hit into can be reduced significantly by a few better hitters, and a little more speed.

If we hit into half as many, or even two thirds as many double plays as last season, we can see a noticeable increase in run production.
