Although I think NOLA and Parish got the benefit of some "homer" votes, I won't argue because the people have spoken.

Thanks for all the time you put into this tetu.

With New Belgium coming into Louisjana soon I'd bet they would wind up somewhere between #6-#12.

Lips of Faith series is all I need from them though.

i voted nola I really like their beers alot.

Maybe I like them alot because I'm a homer though

Flambeau red and Irish channel stout get great reviews on te beer websites though.

Parish recently stirred alot of excitement with the Barleywine. I hope this is the first of many great things to come from them.

Too bad the next beer will be tainted with some nasty yeast (I know I'm alone in that thought though ). Ill still buy a bottle to try.

Rogue is probably one of the top ten breweries available anywhere in America.

Hard to argue.

The more I try from Clown Shoes, the more I think they belong higher up that list. Wish more of their stuff was available in 12oz format. Sounds like some of it will be soon.

Will be interesting to see what new options will be on the list a year from now.

Ok, surprising to me is that Magic Hat was left out. Some may not like it, but it has been here for two years now and it still sells. Bars keep buying it, grocery stores have started to stock their seasonals (and variety packs for the lucky folk), and the demand does not seem to be waning. Thoughts?

I admit that I may be biased towards it as I come from the land of Magic Hat. #9 is not my favorite offering, but I take what I can get.

I want to be with you when you try it so I can have it before you tetu it.

I like NOLA and Parish quite a lot too. I am expecting big things from Parish this year. I guess my comment was mainly directed toward all the Parish votes. IMO a brewery that basically only produces one beer that is readily available should not be ranked that high.

I would respectfully disagree. Outside of their stouts, I don't think they do much of anything that's above meh status. If they stopped distributing to Louisiana, I honestly wouldn't miss them.

share gossip here:

I know new Belgium will start in April and should be in full force by December. Any idea on when/if lips of faith will hit? Love me some la Folie, Le terroir, and some Limitted stuff.

Lagunitas maybe?

Anything else? Didn't cigar city recently grow their brewing operation?

I'll take that Top 20 any day. I wonder how it will change over the next few years. New Belgium is coming to town and I would think that a number of the up and coming Texas breweries will also start showing up at some point.

Have not tried it in a while. I've been enjoying the SN Narwhal Imperial Stout though.
