I thought most gave 2 weeks pay so you sign a confidentiality statement or something like that if they let you go early?

Whatever you pick, save up a little $ so next time you switch jobs it doesn't mess you up.

A recommendation from experience.
Stop spending any and all money on anything that is not critical to your existence until you can afford a week without pay.
ETA: If there is nothing you can cut that is not critical to your existence, downsize your lifestyle.
