Work the 2nd shift at an oilfield manufacturing shop.
Leave my apartment every day at 6:30am. Not home until 10-11pm.
Eta: 40-45 hours at work. 12-15 hours every semester.
Still carrying a 3.1.

Worked shift hours in a powerplant. School by day. Wasn't easy with a kid on the way.

Pectus, I mean for those who attended, but now have chosen to go back. It's hard to pay the bills if you get a typical college job. Also, you become accustomed to a standard of living.
So I asked, what did posters who decided to go back to school do in order to make a decent living while doing taking classes again.

Ill be honest, it's hard a shite taking tough classes while working full time. I got a BS (bull shit) kinesiology degree the first go round at LSU. Very little down time and even less sleep this go round. No time to cook. Weekends are always booked up. Especially Sundays.
Good luck. Find a good job that's willing to work with you. My bosses love me and allowed me to make my own schedule when I started back. Now I managed the building at night.

Was thinking of going to law school until I got so much negative feedback here. Not so much as career change as I just wanted to do it. Was planning to use 401k$ as that was one way to get at it without penalty and taxes. Now I think I'll do like Tug McGraw and spend about 90% of that fund on beautiful women, Cuban cigars, and fine Irish whiskey, the rest, I'll probably waste.

Oh. I got grants and scholarships.
Community College and Online Classes are also a great option.

Thanks, but I still have a ways to go...and I don't think O&G exploration is my thing. I'd rather be a contracted paleontologist.

Why the hostility? It's a solid degree that I would only be 33 hours plus a summer camp away from graduating with when I graduate with a CM degree + geology, business admin, and tech sales minors next spring.
