Somewhat unfair to compare these over extended periods of time. Fed is 6 years older than the other guys. There was a time when he was untouchable. He dominated pretty much everyone for number of years. 17 majors don't lie. In addition, he one on every surface which in think is a testament to the player. Not nearly as much of a specialist as Nadal.

1. Federer got his first ten majors against the likes of Marcos Baghdatis, Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt, and the like.

2. How in the world is Nadal a specialist? He has been to five Wimby finals and won it twice, beating Fed in 2008. He also won the Aussie Open in 2009 by beating Fed. Perhaps he is a specialist. His specialty is beating Roger Federer in tennis.

Nadal has won on every surface too, but out of his 11 majors, 7 are French, 2 are Wimbledon, 1 is Austrailian, and 1 is U.S.

Federer has 7 Wimbledons, 5 U.S. Opens, 4 Austrailians, and 1 French. He also made it to 5 French Open finals losing 4 of them to the greatest clay court player of all time.
