How do we have so many scoreless innings yet, all these guys have so many extra base hits?

Ok well then these stats should be taken with a ginormous grain of salt if thats how they generate the stats.

i dont know for certain. but hunter newman got 3 outs in the 9th. but then bregman doubled and rhymes drove him in. so since he's listed as not giving up a run it HAS to be how they do it.

You shouldn't question Will Davis' propaganda machine. Just observe that no pitching stats were provided for key guys like Eades, Rumbelow, Cotton, Bonvillan, McCune and hope they get that straightened out over the next 3 weeks.

i saw bonvillain pitch 2 innings yesterday. dont think he gave up a run but that may be wrong. he got bregman to hit into a double play with the bases loaded to get out of a jam (partly caused by a yocum error).

Ah yeah sounds like it.

Very weird way to keep the stats.
Guess they are trying to pad them up

yeah perhaps. they also do situational stuff sometimes too so it makes sense to extend innings. like if PM wants to see a couple of extra guys hit with runners in scoring position with 2 outs.

sciambra going 4-8 is encouraging. If he can get on base ahead of Bregman,Rhymes,Katz , things could get interesting.

they also cut innings short. Saturday, pm ended an inning on bregman's fly to cf that the cf misplayed. pretty sure he did it at least once after a walk.

I see Tyler Moore hit well going 4-8. I hope he can find a spot in the lineup. It adds a good lefty stick. I don't know where he goes in the field though. I guess 3rd or hope that Rhymes plays in the outfield and he can DH.

Chris Sciambra and Tyler Moore each went 4-for-8

Mason Katz went 3-for-9 with a triple and Home Run
Freshman shortstop Alex Bregman went 5-for-10 with four doubles

Our pitching is terrible!

All stats attached to a SCRIMMAGE should be taken with a grain of salt. That doesn't change the fact that it was a good three days from the guys.

Would be interesting to know how they got all those hits with the pitching stats above. Somebody from the coaching staff pitched batting practice? Don't get me wrong, I'll take those hitting stats anyway they come.

That is a great question, I was thinking the same thing. Kind of funny, but the stats are the stats all I can say is it looks like a great year for LSU baseball.

Where'd he find those wheels against our newly athletic outfield?

Maybe they have you on ignore because you are an Indiana Fan, just saying.

Just kidding
