(Posted on 1/27/13 at 3:51 pm to timlan2057) My high school baseball team has been using the Detroit Tigers logo for as long as I can remember. The basketball team uses Auburn's eyes logo as well. I don't think they're big enough for them to really care though

You wouldn't even have to pay anyone with the wealth of free material online and ease of making custom logos and gear. Anyone with any creativity at all could come up with something better than just slapping someone else's logo on a helmet.

KSU was sort of interesting, they let schools use their logo for $1 for 2 year time periods, but if schools sell items with the logo on it, they have to use one of the approved apparel makers who pay 10% to KSU. Also you can't use the logo in KU colors.
