I love Claremont for the most part and quite frankly his version was status quo for the X-Men for a long time, but we are coming onto 15 years (and looks to be going strong) with of the Morrison/Whedon construction of X-Men. Once has been a long journey for Cyclops has completely changed the entire focus of the series, which it should be-he is the lead, the heir apparent and now working with his mentors rival it more interesting than anything Claremont did, IMO.
