4-5 years ago I bought an E2L Outdoorsman light and it has been all it should be until this season. The tail cap switch started acting up and finally completely failed. I went online to get an idea what a new tail cap would cost. Without ever registering my light or proof of purchase they sent me the part I needed free of charge. The little light is back functioning perfectly and it didn't cost me a dime.

Kudos to Surefire!! They will get my business the next time I am in need of a light.

Eotech did something similar for me. Ive had the sight since 2000 give or take and it started going out on me and finally quit working. They sent me parts to fix it no questions asked

How much is a Surefire light?

Are these the same ones you ordered off of Amazon a few months back?

I'd like to have a badass flashlight for the truck that's rechargeable.
Suggestions on namebrand?

I like all of 'em. Surefire, Streamlight and that funny-named one someone talked about on here, Kuros or something.

King, I love Pelican cases, but I had poor luck w/ their flashlights.

I love Surefire flashlights. I just ordered another one this week (Fury). I think their weapon lights hold up better than the others...but they are $$$.
