Thought to be the first picture of a person. Since the "film" had to be exposed for ten minutes to capture the photo, no moving objects were caputured. However, in the lower left, there is what appears to be a man having his boot polished. 1838.

fricked up BADD

I feel the only way the commanding officers would do that is to save him from a beating from his peers by publicly embarrassing him. He must've ruined everyones dinner, fricked up everyones personal off-boat time, or something like that.

ETA:

or shite on the deck, thus disrespecting everyone on it shite. Damn what a moron you'd have to be to do that

At 5:00pm on Sunday, 3rd September 1967, Sweden changed from driving of the left to driving on the right. This is what happened.

How about a Fresca?

ETA, I love old NFL photos, though, that show how fricking austere it all used to be 'back in the day.'

The guy washing the deck? Yeah, first thought was he was a POW because he seemed rather skinny. Couldn't get any info on it though

That would be my guess as well. Ole boy with the bat looks ready to crack a skull. POW would be the only thing i can think of to get all hands on deck for a photo.
