St. Tammany is different from the Southshore. It's like north and west LA where, because there isn't the socio-economic problems of the urban public schools, doesn't share the same conflicts. This is really why so many publics in New Orleans didn't want to split. Public schools know they need the private schools for their programs to survive. Privates bring infrastructure for sports, money for games, etc.

I have heard that a well respected principal will propose..

1. Counting or Classifying select schools differently.

2. creating an option in football super class.

3. doing away with attendance zones completely.


or just walking away from the LHSAA... might be a lot more publics willing to walk....than people realize.
