Anyone run a "common man's" trolling motor in the marsh? Is it worth the extra jack to get the white one?
My little 15" center console is 12 years old, sees regular use and all I fish is brackish/salt marsh. The trolling motor is a freshwater MinnKota and the black motor housing is just starting to show a bit of surface corrosion. The stainless downtube is perfect and the thing keeps running every time I use it.
When I upgrade to a larger boat I will probably end up with the white saltwater version because most bay boats have those now.
