Phoebe Cates not giving Brad a happy ending when she interrupts him in the bathroom by not knocking after he took the time to spy on her coming out of the pool. (directly related to Roller Girl not doing the same in the Limo with the Frat guy in Boogie Nights.)

I was going to put that and it pissed me off for a long time how Mary Staurt Masteron gets out of the friend zone in Some Kind of Wonderful, after Duckie gets the shaft, however, Duckie gets Kristy Swanson, so maybe he's better off
