I agree. I love the Saints and the name now, but it was sort of dorky in the beginning.

You mean when footballs were oddly shaped boxes?

So haaaaaard!

Just messing. Totally with you.

People just accepting the team is what makes it. Le Fin.

But someone will say but what I like is blah blah blah and they need whatever to my tastes blah blah blah. Well, citizen, there are 30 teams and 300,000,000 fans domestically. Do the math.

Oh, they don't all count. 2,000,000 in the 1 team's broadcast area. 17,000 seats in the ~2m SELA region. Don't like it, take off.

Cold facts, regardless of what anyone thinks about the rebrand. The team will play and get fans regardless when they start winning.

No. My moron detector works is all.

What you are spouting is something very close to racism, since you are applying an unfounded trait to a group of people regardless of any specific information you have. "Those people are just like that," for example.

It doesn't need to hit close to home to know you for a moron, moron.

Take a drink. I'm sure your throat is dry from the mouth-breathing.

No, it's stereotyping. Using a rule to be true most of the time.

New Orleans people will support anything New Orleans, even if it's the local NAMBLA chapter

So, you don't realize you agree.

Yes, I agree that most people from New Orleans who hated this name the last few weeks have now jumped on the bandwagon loving it, simply because it is now New Orleans.

I wanted burnt orange and grey uniforms. Very unique. I have these shoes and they really pop.

No, but it's taken to another level by people from New Orleans.

It was simply stunning to see the about face after it was made known that the name would indeed change to the Pelicans. The people who hated it most were all about it now or at least "it's growing on me."

Brass or Pelicans were the two I was hoping it to come down to. So, yes, I like it. I'm very excited to see what they come up with tomorrow.

Because most of whining complaining ninnies here know nothing about brands and are focused on the wrong thing (e.g. yeah, the haaaardest name, representing `me' and `my culture I'm reading about right now' or some other nonsense). The others are whining complaining ninnies who know something but can't but whine and complain for some reason.

But everyone else is "almost racist" for making arguably less-stereotypical comments.

Maybe you should write an article about your internet prowess.

Seriously, though, you just spent an entire page justifying your fan superiority. Write an article about it and the whole 247 crew can get on board with fan superiority.

So nothing grows on people now without it.being a sickness but only people fromthat there. I guess notthat transplants. What if you moved away when you were one, expert?

You are completely ignoring the people who liked Pelicans from the start and those who came to accept it in the . meantime. Bad data.

No on said anything about not supporting a name. Ill still support the pelicans. Doesn't mean I like the name.

These people are loving the name because of their New Orleans complex
