Affleck was the bomb in Pearl Harbor.
Patton - one of the greatest The Thin Red Line - an artsy war movie Gods and Generals - been a while but I remember liking it Inglorious Basterds - why not Black Hawk Down - best modern war flick (haven't seen zero dark yet and I hope Lone Survivor is awesome) Jarhead - was alright but too whiny, better than 3 Kings Apocalypse Now - good but still makes me say wtf? Hot Shots Part Deux
Whoever thinks the Patriot is a good movie should be perma banned.

This is not only my favorite war movie; it is possibly my favorite movie overall. Talk about some raw humanity. Kirk Douglas' character is the epitome of what a man should be.
