This is why you're worried about Bryant.

Not worried at all good sir. Kid is a one man circus. Hope to land him but if not we move on.

There's nothing wrong with worrying...it just means you care about things...your team, in this case.

I'm worried about Tevin Lawson not qualifying now that we've offered another true DT in Bryant.

Scout says he is very good at getting into the backfield and messing things up....Brocker's type.

Brocker was/is an interior lineman...one of the best at stopping the run. Bryant is more like Freak.

Freak should be nasty in several months, btw.

He looks a lot like Dorsey on his film coming out. Stature and style.

I was just thinking his highlights remind me of J.C. Copeland's.

I agree...so did/does Freak. There's 2 types of DT's, and those 3 are all one of those types.

Negative...we don't want him to fizzle out, do we?

Bryant could be a really nice pick up.

Whatever happened to Rod Crayton? I haven't heard much on him in months? Did the staff give up on him when we got Bain?

I got the impression that he was a backup plan if Gilmore picked Florida. Then when Bain became a likely commit as well, there was no room for Crayton and LSU reserved their last few spots for bigger fish or other positions.

he might if his grades aren't in order...Jimmy D listed him, Cutrer, Lawson, and Leslie as potential academic casualities on his chat today.

said LSU would hold a spot for Leslie...he wasn't sure what they would do on the others, if it came to that.

if Bryant and Tevin Lawson both qualify, will Lawson be moved to OLine?

2013
J.R. Ferguson 6-3 300 jr
Quentin Thomas 6-3 280 so
Maquedius Bain 6-3 310 fr*
Christian LaCouture 6-5 290 fr*

Anthony Johnson 6-3 300 jr
Mickey Johnson 6-0 320 so
Greg Gilmore 6-4 285 fr*
Tevin Lawson 6-4 285 fr*
?Keith Bryant?

We have depth at DT but OLine is thin

Yeah, no...we're as thin depth-wise at DT as we're been in years. Our depth across the DL is our biggest concern going into next season.

On the other hand, we're absolutely LOADED on the OL. We have tons of options but need to settle on a group ASAP to let then gel and learn to play together as a unit.

Our biggest loses, IMO, were Logan 1st and Faulk 2nd.

Yeah, no

Just curious if you saw the oline last year.
After injuries occur, proper depth can help you, not flounder towards the end of the year.
Maybe you are misunderstanding the word. I am talking about depth, not starting talent.

As for the dts, you're right. Possibly in 2014, ferguson and johnson will be gone, but you can't pile up 12 players for only 2 spots; and then only have 14 payers occupy 5 spots on the oline.I understand that ols can be interchangeable, but I don't know where you are going here.

Also, do the math.
There are not enough ol on the team to be 'LOADED'.
